The name of Lake Luther refers to its proximity to Lutherstein.
The Luthersee will form a natural unity with the neighboring Bergweg and Schafteich lakes as landscape lakes, which will only be accessible through hiking and cycling paths.
The comparatively small Luthersee is being developed as a landscape lake. With the exception of the eastern bank, the banks of Lake Luther have already been fully formed and are subject to natural succession.
