              The longest building built by the National Socialists measures four and a half kilometers. On May 2, 1936, the Nazi organization Kraft durch Freude (KdF) laid the foundation stone for the holiday complex in Prora on the island of Rügen, which consists of eight blocks of identical construction in a row.
