The original structure dates back to the first half. 14th century (before 1333). Later modifications turned the temple into a baroque building. In 1493 it was mentioned as a parish church under the patronage of Georg von der Marwitz. In 1797, a half-timbered tower was built and rich interior furnishings were provided. The church had a cabinet altar from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries, decorated with wooden sculptures from the early 16th century and church benches from the 17th century. In the 19th century, a sacristy was added. On December 25, 1945, it was burned and then blown up by the Red Army, only the perimeter walls remained. In 1980, the temporary chapel of the parish of St. A fire station was dedicated to the Apostles Peter and Paul from Dębno. The parish priest, Stanisław Sadowski, bought the square next to the church together with the ruins of the destroyed church in 1982. Similarly to Smolnica, reconstruction work with the participation of residents was undertaken in 1984 under the supervision of the Salesian priest. Wiesław Dąbrowski. The church was consecrated on June 30, 1985.

The church dates back to the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries and has since been rebuilt several times. In 1945, it was burned down by Soviet troops and rebuilt only in 1985.
