Hiking
The Levada dos Cedros Trail follows a narrow irrigation channel through dense laurel forest, past ferns, moss, and gnarled trees – pure Madeira feeling. The path is mostly pleasantly level, with occasional views opening up into deep valleys and to the surrounding mountains. Be careful of the sometimes slippery surface when wet and enjoy the many photo opportunities along the way.
