Very scenic location of an old Greek castle town that was already destroyed by Spartan rivals thousands of years ago. Well worth exploring the trails to the coastal overlooks.

A fantastic site - it's not easy to find more details online.The two large inner walls (west-east and south-border) are striking. In the middle are the remains of a chapel, which was added much later.The outer enclosure wall is also clearly visible, and you can even still make out structures that may have once been gates. The path leading west out towards the city passes through such a gap in the wall.Beautiful at sunrise!
