"... The Burgholz state forest is one of the forests that surround Cronenberg. But not just any forest: over 100 tree species from all over the world are at home here, the "Arboretum Burgholz" is considered the largest foreign plantation in Germany, it is sometimes said that the village " Mutikulti-Forest" is the largest arboretum in Central Europe. The origins of the planting of foreign trees in Burgholz go back to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and there are two names from more recent history associated with the exotic forest.
