After a long climb, you reach the Plan de la Lière basin, a large green and marshy space where the large Lac du Glacier is located, we are at an altitude of 2,145 metres. From here you continue following the switchback path that goes up the slope. In this part of the climb the path climbs steeply and in steps until it reaches the Deffeyes Refuge.
