About La Thuile - The Wild Side of Mont Blanc
ITA

This path takes you between beautiful Alpine villages.

You will be able to take a detour from the route to take a break on the shores of Lake Verney and then dive into history thanks to the remains of the Roman Mansio.

The T route can be undertaken in both directions, but be very careful because in some sections the path narrows and therefore it is necessary to share it with other cyclists in the other direction.

In general, it is a route with more challenging sections, so it is necessary to have good control of the

The simplest of our routes, starts from the ski lift departure area, and along an easy flat path that follows the stream in the middle of a coniferous forest, reaches the Promise location. From here you can return by the same path, or via the asphalt road on the other side of the stream, paying attention

From the town centre, take the paved road through La Thuile, then take a dirt road that leads to an alpine pasture. From there, a more challenging road leads to Col Chavanne, with uphill sections of up to 14% that require good physical effort. From the hill, the descent towards Val Veny is on a narrow

To reach the Family trail, you need to take the two chairlifts open in the summer season, take the F trail from the arrival of the Chalet chairlift, and after a short ride, turn left. It is an easy and not particularly long route, on a dirt road, also suitable for families. Extremely panoramic, since

We are in the Bike Park of La Thuile

lathuile.it/it/mtb-trail-map

The trail is extremely steep, and there are some fast sections and others with very tight and steep switchbacks. The first part of the video "French Lessons" was filmed here.
