The artist Kristina Jäkel from Diemelstadt carved it from Wrexen red sandstone. The goddess Freya is a symbol of love, happiness, fertility and spring.
According to legend, her precious tears turn into pure gold when they hit stone. However, if her tears fall into the water, they turn to amber. Two materials that are still considered valuable and special today.
