A medieval defensive tower built in the first half of the 14th century. It owes its name - dovecote - to the fact that in the 19th century, shelves of carrier pigeons were placed there.

One of the medieval towers. Rebuilt after 1880 with the adaptation of the two highest floors into a military dovecote used to service the Toruń Fortress; hence the name of the tower. The iron hooks of the dovecotes come from that time.
