Striking landscape feature with a path along what looks like a valley but is clearly an overgrown quarry. An older resident wasn't sure, but she did know that the people here are called "the people of the Groef". At the end there is also a path called Groefstraetje. More information welcome but definitely worth a look and certainly a quarry. Langdorp once had three iron sand quarries.
