The St. Rochus Chapel in Obliers was built in 1891.
The town of Obliers belonged to the Mutscheid Dingstuhl, which was pledged by the Electorate of Cologne to the Lords of Wensburg in 1539.
On March 30, 1971, the previously independent municipality of Obliers (at the time 58 inhabitants) was dissolved and merged with Plittersdorf (101 inhabitants) and Lind (287 inhabitants) to form the new municipality of Lind.
