The Obermedlingen collegiate church is a real surprise.

In 1700 the foundation stone for the new construction of the monastery and today's collegiate church was laid. The furnishings are kept in an elegant early baroque white, to which the altars, confessionals, rows of seats, the choir stalls, the organ and the pulpit made of dark brown wood create a harmonious contrast. The inlay work is extremely noteworthy.

The wooden pulpit in the Baroque style has a polygonal pulpit over an inverted cone, which is carried by two putti. Its surfaces are structured by angel caryatids with flower chains and are covered with pushed-on fillings.
