    Hiking

In Roman mythology, NEPTUNE, who was honored here with a fountain on the town hall square, is the god of the sea; his Greek counterpart is POSEIDON. Both are usually depicted with a trident - in paintings or as statues - which is their common trademark, so to speak. In contrast to his Greek "counterpart", a planet is named after NEPTUNE.
