Karol Musioł is still a living legend in the minds of the residents. It is hardly surprising, after all, he was an orchestral man: the founder and first president of the Society of Friends of Opole, the author of the idea of organizing the "Opole Days" and the National Festival of Polish Songs, the TPO Club, today commonly known as "Musiołówka". "Papa" is something of a very affectionate distinction in Silesia, and Musioł has always been treated that way.
