There are around 200 advertising columns in Karlsruhe. 12 of them are something special because they have an Art Nouveau hood and one is completely in its original condition. This is something special and probably unique in Europe.

The designs probably come from the Karlsruhe-based sculptor Fridolin Dietsche (1861-1908) and were installed shortly after the turn of the century.
