The bridge is beautiful on its own. From here you have an excellent view of the Fulda. In the rain, it offers you protection.

A beautiful bridge with a wooden roof that spans the Fulda here. From the bridge you have a beautiful view of the course of the river and the Fuldatalbrücke of the A44. A few swans frolic on the shore.Only 200 m away, a dam was supposed to be built, which would have dammed the Fulda here for the operation of a hydroelectric power station. The necessary operational buildings were built in the 1920s, but the plan was then scrapped due to competition from coal-fired power plants and cost concerns. The buildings were sold in the 1930s to private individuals who still live in the "restricted settlement".
