In the case of so-called "urban greenery", such as in the Kurpark, Springerpark, Oberer Gabenweiher and along the strips of woodland on Maierhöfener Straße, the usage intervals play a key role in whether they have a high or low biodiversity. Here, the mowing intervals could be adapted to the requirements of individual indicator species. The flowering diversity can be specifically promoted depending on the location, shade or light. Planting small groups of native shrubs can also increase the abundance of flowers and increase the nesting opportunities for "city birds".
