The Amrum dunes are a large and connected nature reserve in the west of the North Sea island of Amrum. With 728 hectares, it covers almost all of the dune areas on the island. The Amrum Dunes nature reserve is around eight kilometers long and up to one kilometer wide. The dunes on Amrum are one of the most extensive dune areas in Germany.
