The De Toekomst windmill is a flour mill on the Sprangweg in Hoeven. This flour mill was built in 1862. The mill was restored in 1968/69 and operated until the end of 2007. The mill was then shut down to replace the jib blades. After the restoration, De Toekomst has the Van Bussel streamline system on both rods.
The mill contains 1 pair of 16der artificial stones and an electrically driven pair of 17der artificial stones. The mill belt has been partly replaced by a warehouse.
