The 'hunting dome' dates from about 1800 and was originally intended as a resting point for hunting parties. In addition to a resting place, the dome and hill were also used as a shelter and to gain inspiration. This dome was later restored by Natuurmonumenten and offers hikers a beautiful view over the fields. Especially around dusk you can look for game here, such as deer that come to graze in the fields.
