Around 1615 Nispen again got a church, which passed into Protestant hands in 1648. After 1797, Protestants and Catholics started sharing the church. Not that they met in the same room: only the nave of the church was for the Catholics. In 1828 they were able to put the entire church back into use.
The current church dates from 1930 and the predecessor was demolished in that year. The church tower is a lot younger: from 1958. At the time of the liberation in 1944, the original tower was destroyed.
