Welcome to Koesterijs

Our cows are the stars that produce milk as a basis for fresh and artisanal farm ice cream. This way you can experience a moment of happiness to ‘cow-star-en’.
Jan and Kathleen run a family dairy farm that is located at 2 locations in Essen-Horendonk. The dairy cows are housed at the main location, calves can be found in the Silvesterlaan. This is where the Koesterijs is made under the watchful eye of our calves.

With our small-scale ice cream production, we want to bring the consumer closer to the producer and offer the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at both the farm and the ice cream production.

Eating artisanal farm ice cream is simply enjoying, a moment to cherish. That is why we like to prepare our artisanal farm ice cream with great passion. We focus strongly on the purity of our products, the fresh fruit in our ice cream, ... to make our Koesterijs a real quality product.

We are convinced that our cows are our stars in producing the ice cream and we want to take care of them in every possible way.
