Hiking
Düsseldorf's Südpark is a spacious and diverse green space located in the south of the city, covering approximately 70 hectares. It ideally combines relaxation, leisure, and nature experiences and is very popular with both locals and visitors.
The park was created at the end of the 19th century as a landscape park in the style of an English garden and was later expanded and modernized several times, most recently in connection with the 1987 Federal Garden Show. The result is a diverse park landscape with spacious meadows, mature trees, flowering perennial beds, and diverse woody groups.
