Carmel-by-the-Sea

This picturesque town just south of 17 Mile Dr is a sight in itself. Beautiful wooden houses, many art galleries and also home to some Hollywood stars. Clint Eastwood was once the mayor of this small town of around 4,000 people.

Carmel ~ for me a tranquil small town with flair ☺️ you can see where you have landed at the latest when you walk past Tiffany's, but the houses are neither ostentatious nor oversized, but small and fine and lovingly designed (I'm sure I like the artistic vein of this Place are: ) Carmel is beautifully situated on the Pacific coast and despite the high season, only a few people were out and about.
Oh yes, who cares - Carmel is one of the most expensive areas on the west coast (for such a small 100 sqm house you can easily pay 9 million dollars 😬)

Great area for a walk and also see the houses around. Most of them are fairytale style. Pretty cool for pictures.
