If the "normal" climbs to the watchtower don't offer enough height, you can book a few more meters with this little arch.
In Radheim you drive in the direction of Schaafheim and turn right to the cemetery in the village.
Then shortly after the cemetery up a sharp left (about 9% gradient).
Now straight ahead until the asphalt stops and then turn right back down towards Mosbach.
Below you come across the paved (!) Path to the watch tower on this short section.
So left up (attention: cross traffic) and up and down to the watch tower.
The highlight is the serpentine (approx. 11%) on the last meters.
As I said: you can have it easier, but not more beautiful!

The watch tower on the Schaafheim district dominates the ridge of the 216 m high Binselberg between the districts of Radheim and Mosbach and the main town of Schaafheim, visible from afar. He was part of the Bachgauer Landwehr, which moved over the Binselberg, where the ship route crossed, whose goods movements were controlled and customs were levied. The work, built in 1492, is a mighty stone tower that could originally only be climbed using a rope ladder. In the meantime, an entrance has been broken into the thick wall at ground level so that it is openly accessible at all times. Inside, a solid wooden staircase leads to the top window and door openings. From here you have a magnificent view of the heights of the Spessart in the east, the Odenwald in the south and west and the Taunus in the north-west. Frankfurt, Hanau and Aschaffenburg are visible to the naked eye. The approx. 30 m high tower is a magical attraction for young and old, with interesting explanatory boards and beautiful benches with a great view. 🚴‍♂️

The all-round view from the tower is a terrific compensation for the strain on the pedals.
The short detour on the way from Schaafheim to Radheim is worthwhile for racing cyclists. When you reach the highest point, take the beautiful mountain road to the watch tower.
