This small lake has had various names over time, such as Lake Wittenmyer or Mudd Lake. It is located in a park along the Cross Kirkland Corridor, and you can easily ride around it. To get a good view of the lake, you should take a small wooden footbridge from the central path.

Now that the Cross Kirkland trail bridge is in place, people may go right by this beautiful lake and not stop. It is worth a 10-minute pause to meander along the path. Major points if you can spot the beaver, the fish and the bird along the way!
