The village museum comprises a total of five buildings. The “Alte Forsthof”, built in 1604, is remarkable and was inhabited by different generations of foresters and their families until 1872. There has been a museum here since 1990, which gives an insight into village life from 1900 to 1950. The collection includes objects from everyday culture, agricultural machinery and tools for practicing professions, some of which have long been abandoned. There are fantastic home-made cakes in the adjacent café. It is open Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and by appointment.
