This is the former residence of Zhou Enlai, the first Premier of the People's Republic of China. During the negotiation of the Communist Party and the Kuomintang after the Sino-Japanese War the Communist Party delegation used this as their office. It was therefor simply referred to as Zhou's Mansion (周公馆).
The house was previously open to the public simply as Former Residence of Zhou Enlai. It is currently undergoing renovation and construction, and it has also changed its designation to 'CPC Delegation Shanghai Office Memorial Hall'.
