      An ancient Sforza residence in the 15th century, it was enlarged and frescoed at the behest of the Della Rovere dukes in the 16th century by the Urbino architect Girolamo Genga. Its splendor failed for a long period, which lasted from 1631 to the 19th century, when the villa passed to the Albani family, united with that of the Castelbarco. Only thanks to the care and restoration of the new owners has it been possible over the years to restore the ancient splendor of the Roveresque residence.
