The Church of Our Lady (Liebfrauenkirche) is a Gothic church located on Liebfrauenberg hill in the northern part of Frankfurt am Main's Old Town.

It was built in several phases between the 14th and 16th centuries and today serves as both a monastery church and a Catholic rectorate church. Its location near the Zeil shopping street gives it an important role in pastoral care in the city center; the church and the publicly accessible monastery courtyard are popular places of quiet reflection, not only within the Catholic community.

The Church of Our Lady is situated on the northern edge of Liebfrauenberg hill, which in the Middle Ages was one of the most important squares in the Old Town. The Staufen Wall, a city wall dating from the 12th century, ran along the church. It wasn't until 1855 that Liebfrauengasse was built west of the church as a thoroughfare to the Zeil, thus creating a direct connection from Liebfrauenberg to the New Town. This is why the church portal opens to the south, even though the church has the usual east-west orientation. There is no door in the west wall of the church; instead, a remnant of the old Staufen Wall can still be seen there.

Running south from Liebfrauenberg is Neue Kräme, one of the three north-south axes of the Old Town. Like Liebfrauengasse, it has been a pedestrian zone since the 1960s and connects Liebfrauenberg with Paulsplatz and Römerberg, from where the Fahrtor leads to the banks of the Main River.

The Church of Our Lady is one of several churches in Frankfurt's city center. It was built in several phases between the 14th and 16th centuries.

Inside the church, one can sit for a moment and escape the hustle and bustle outside.
