Created in the early 19th century, this body of still water lies in the northeast of the Wallanlagen, a ring of parks surrounding the Frankfurt city center. Along with the Rechneigraben Pond and the Albert Mangelsdorff Pond, the Bethmann Pond is one of three bodies of water within the Wallanlagen.
