The "Mt. Qixing" is 1,120 m the highest mountain in the "Yangmingshan National Park". He is a former volcano. As a sign of the still ongoing geothermal activity can be found in various places hot springs and fumaroles.
On weekends often overcrowded, as the "Yangmingshan National Park" is one of the recreational areas of Taipei. If you start early in the week, the former volcanoes are almost all by themselves.
