The Garibaldi House-Museum: is located in via Marconi, a few steps from the Municipal Palace. It was the house of the parish priest Antonino Pampalone (1810-1866), a fervent liberal and deputy for Calatafimi in the Sicilian Parliament of 1848: in this house Garibaldi and four of his officers were hosted on 16 May 1860. From his balcony that day the General spoke, between the applause to the people of Calatafimi, of the unification of Italy. In July 1862, Garibaldi was again a guest in this house and visited the battle sites in Pianto Romano and the mass grave, marked by a simple cross, which collected the remains of the fallen on both sides. From this same balcony he then spoke to the Calatafimesi, apparently pronouncing for the first time the famous motto "O Rome or death".

Adjacent to the municipal building is the Garibaldi House Museum, formerly Pampalone, an authentic treasure chest of homeland and Risorgimento history rich in documents and relics of the famous Battle of Calatafimi on 15 May 1860.
Inside it is possible to visit the rooms where Garibaldi, the Hero of the Two Worlds, found shelter and refreshment in those troubled days in which the fate of the nascent Italy was decided thanks to the commitment of a thousand and more picciotti, and to which numerous patriotic citizens of Calatafimi certainly did not lack their courage and support in the undertaking. From the balcony of this building which was the home of Antonino Pampalone, parish priest and fervent liberal, Giuseppe Garibaldi spoke to the crowd gathered on 16 May 1860 after the clash with the Bourbon army.
