Easily accessible via a fortified steep road, normally closed to cars, as the Way of the Cross. Above, the panorama is breathtaking. On and in the old walls of the fort is the very active church SS. Maria del Alto. The castle is from the 11th century, but until the 15th century. modernized several times.
