Nice example of an original steam locomotive from the early 1900s, on the model of the one that went up the Asiago Plateau. It is located behind the former Canove train station (now the Great War Museum), along the sediment of the former disused railway line (now a cycle and pedestrian path).

The Rocchette-Asiago railway, operational from 1910 to 1958, connected the Sette Comuni plateau with the plain, promoting its economic and tourist development. It was a 21km long line, partly rack-and-pinion to overcome the steep climb: the train that ran along it was called by the popular dialect term 'vaca mora', or 'black cow'.
