25.11.2018 - The Hanslkapelle on Viehdorfer Berg, formerly supposedly stood here in this place an old wooden cross as a defense magic against bad weather, a so-called Wetterkreuz, as it is also often to be found in the mountains. According to ancient beliefs, such a weather cross withheld hail, lightning and storm. When this cross came off, the inhabitants of Viehdorf built this chapel in 1912, which was renovated after the first signs of deterioration in 1999 by the siblings Gründling.
