Reginald Adam’s a qualified starter, timekeeper, judge, referee and dedicated fifty years to swimming coaching many Scottish Champions. He retired at the age of 80 and was awarded a MBE for services to sport.
Finally the man in the top hat was Robert Barr of the famous Scottish carbonated soft drink makers and of course Iron Bru Scotlands other national drink.
