Waidmannsheil was built from 1834 to 1837 by Gotha's master builder Gustav Eberhard for Heinrich the seventy-second of Reuß-Ebersdorf as a hunting lodge. The hunting lodge Waidmannsheil is located in a park area on the southern edge of Saaldorf. It is a single-storey building with about 20 by 15 meters of floor space. It has a hipped roof and a tower-like central part, leading to the entrance of a staircase. The tower is crowned with a battlements and corner turrets. Door and windows are pointed arched. The architectural style is attributed to the Neo-Gothic. The site includes other former farm buildings (Wikipedia).

Unfortunately, you can not get in anymore. The site was re-privatized and now everything is again demarcated and fenced :(
