Situated on Pier 57, this massive Ferris wheel stands an impressive 53 meters on Elliott Bay. Opening in 2012, it is the tallest Ferris wheel on the United States West Coast. Cycling is not permitted on the pier, but this location is worthy of a stop for a photo. If you visit after dark on the weekend, the wheel features over 500,00 LED lights, where you can enjoy an unforgettable LED light show, especially during the holidays.

Yeah, so... it's great. It's a wheel. There are usually throngs of tourists waiting to take a ride. But... If you time your visit right and go there at sunset after most cruise ship zombies have gone back to their maritime hotel, you can have a blast seeing the great view and maybe proposing to a loved one at the very top of the arc.
