    Cycling

In the riverbed of the Aoki River lies the Ankō Outcrop of the Japan Median Tectonic Line, Japan's longest fault line. The layers of rock belonging to different tectonic plates are clearly visible. Designated as a national natural monument. There is a parking lot and a toilet, which closes in winter. The parking lot is directly below the hillclimb to Jizōtōge-Pass.

    Cycling

The Ankang outcrop along the median tectonic line is a nationally designated natural monument.
Please park your bicycle in the south exit parking lot.
The road to the Ankang outcrop is very narrow, and part of it was washed away by the flooding of the Aoki River.
Sturdy hiking shoes are required as the footing on the riverbank is poor.
