The fountain "Seven Proud Sisters Kiss the One Sea" stands near the Kröpeliner Tor and depicts seven female figures dancing in a circle, their backs turned to each other, and opening outwards.

The fountain sculpture was created in 1970 by the artist Reinhard Dietrich,
in reference to the Kuba song "Rolle, Ostseewelle, rolle, ..." –
with the idea of peace and friendship among the seven Baltic Sea states.

The walk-in fountain with nine regularly spaced fountains has been a listed monument since 1984.
