Hiking
One of five British cemeteries from the Great War located on the Asiago Plateau, established shortly after the end of the conflict, which together hold 1,024 fallen soldiers: Boscon, Barenthal, Cavalletto, Granezza, and Magnaboschi. The land on which they stand was donated by Italy to Great Britain, effectively making them extraterritorial entities.
Protected by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, which maintains and ensures their preservation: the soldiers' remains were never returned to their homeland but left at the site of their sacrifice, by express wish of the British Empire.
