The Kannenburg lock can be crossed over a bridge with two steps. It is steep, and there are grooves on the sides for pushing the bike. In my opinion, the grooves are a poor design because they are too far out in the area of the handrail, so you have to tilt the bike extremely inwards, which is strenuous with pedelecs. Side panniers hit the railing. Because of the steepness of the groove, the bottom bracket or the mid-engine on many bikes touches the top of the steps. Single-track cargo bikes and double-track bikes have to be carried. This new bridge could have been built better.
