The remains of the city wall on August-Klotz-Straße/Wallstraße are a remnant of Düren's city fortifications.
The remains of Düren's city fortifications date back to the early 13th century. They are built of rubble stone and are approximately 5 m high and 35 m long. The wall is supported by buttresses on the field side. The interior features pointed-arch brick arcades as a substructure for the battlements.
