    Wonderfully situated in Schloss Lichtenegg Park. Can be rented from the city of Wels. It was recently extensively renovated and is a must-see in Wels! Unfortunately, almost no one takes the time to see it. Be sure to see the entire park. Parking is available and free. Tours are free, but unfortunately, only open for special events. Safety comes first. Some people don't appreciate history or private property! The residents are happy people. Very quiet and in the heart of Wels.

    The one-story cubic building is a typical garden architecture that may date back to the Baroque period and was redesigned in the 19th century. From 1890 to 1897, Lichtenegg Castle was inhabited by Archduke Franz Salvator and his wife, the emperor's daughter Marie Valerie. She was visited here several times by her mother, Empress Elisabeth, which gave the small structure the name “Sisi Pavilion”.
