Tips
The Saugarten is the center of the historic forest paths Alte 1 to Alte 8. Alte 1, a dead straight, very easy to drive forest path, starts from here, almost exactly to the east. On the first stretch you first go through the “Evil Hole”, a moor with a small pond in the middle that can be covered with ice well into spring. A bit uphill again, the route continues rather boringly along the Radeberger Landstrasse to the HG-Weg.
