Bike Touring Highlight
The Langebrücker Saugarten is the best preserved and largest of the four suction gardens of the Dresdner Heide. It is located about 500 meters from the edge of Langebrück. The site covers an area of 1.27 hectares comparable in size to the Dresden Altmarkt and was created in 1781/82 as the "New Suction Type" and a total of three facilities of this type in the Dresdner Heide. A stone wall encloses part of the suction. On the Sternbrückenhübelweg, a stone house that still exists today was built into the wall, in which hunting equipment could be stored.
