Located in Cabo Tiñoso we find this impressive fortress built and armed between 1933 and 1936 in a strategic position. The Castillitos Battery was rehabilitated to visit. The last stretch to get to the site is a bit worn so we can get off the bike and walk a few meters to contemplate the place and its views.

Hiking

The site was cool. I learned a lot about the Spanish Civil War and how the Republicans used the buildings. What I liked most was seeing the cannons; they were very large. 😀
If you want to go back through the West, there's a somewhat tedious road with a lot of cars. That road seemed endless to me. 😮‍💨
