Tesla's only electric car factory in Europe to date will now be served by its own train shuttle from the public rail network. The first shuttle reached the new depot on the Tesla site in Grünheide (Oder-Spree) early on Monday morning. From now on, the diesel train will commute between Erkner train station and the factory premises almost 60 times a day on working days - Monday to Friday. This alone brings more than 1,500 employees directly to the factory premises for shift changes. According to Tesla, the train is free and can be used by anyone.
